Lukla is a small town in the Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural municipality of the Solukhumbu District in the Province No. 1 of northeastern Nepal. Situated at 2,860 metres (9,383 ft) above sea level, it is a popular place for visitors to the Himalayas near Everest region to arrive and considered as the Gateway to Mount Everest. And Sorig Khunphen Link has expanded its branch clinic at Lukla in 2024 A.D with the vision of providing health care service to the visitors from all around the world and people of Lukla and nearby villages such as Surkhe, Chaurikhadka, Phakding, Ghat, and Chaplung.
